Welcome to Big Bad Daddy’s new Pad

The all new disc opened by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy pays tribute to none other than the musical legend Cab Calloway. The performance at the Eisemann Center was dubbed as “100 Years of Cab Calloway- Featuring Voodoo Daddy”. With this thought in mind, you would step in, expecting an array of Calloway numbers to be playing, much different from their actual versions.

The crowd was caught unaware when the bands performed to the raging and fiery performances on retro music. Cob Calloway numbers took a good part of the show. But the crowd was only too happy to swing to the ever-energetic vibes, which matched their never ending energy levels.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has had a long musical career of 17 years, and yet his enigmatic charm never ceases to appease his millions of fans. What started as a small home band in their first movie Swingers has now come a long way. As the saying goes, the wine only gets better with time.

So it is with the BBVD. Right from the bass, keyboard, lead and the vocalist, there is not the minutest of flaw in their style of playing, which you know when you hear it. Each member of the band has a special charm, and you can only feel their passion for the music as you watch the smile on their faces.
